There was
a powerful service in Pastor Shelley's church in
Alabama on Sunday, April 6th. About 30 people from the
congregation had just returned from attending The Call in
Montgomery, Alabama, the day before.
Jerrell
Miller, editor of The Remnant newspaper, was there to later
interview Pastor Shelley. He had spent many years chronicling
the Brownsville Revival, and now God had sent him to begin
to chronicle what God was doing and
about to do in Alabama as a forerunning state for a lasting
revival.
Both
Jerrell Miller and John Carter, an evangelist from
Florida, were given an opportunity to powerfully share what God
had shown them, and then Pastor Shelley continued to minister from
God's heart. At one point, the Holy Ghost came upon
Pastor Shelley so strong that he praised the Lord wildly with
abandon and ended up on the floor of the
platform! The organist was moved by that powerful
anointing and also ended up on the floor!
I have
summarized some of the essence of the service in this update, but

Alabama - Flashpoint for
Revival
Lou Engle, Dutch Sheets, and other prophetic
leaders have prophesied that Alabama
will be a flashpoint for revival. It is the
first state in the roster of states.
This is how they advertised
The Call, Alabama:
The Call is on
the march to Montgomery ... with
The Call Alabama to occur April 5th, 2008 - the 40
year anniversary of the death of Dr. Martin Luther King
Jr. Could it be that the birthplace and flash
point of the civil rights movement from the womb of the South will
once again provide a tipping point for our nation?
Could it be that the movement fueled by a call to
biblical righteousness and justice that impacted a
nation and brought deliverance from injustice 40 years ago might
provide a foundation for our generation to cross Jordan and enter
into the promise yet there for our nation?
Pastor
Shelley said:
We
know it’s not about one place. It’s about a region, it’s about a state, it’s about
states, it’s about a nation, it’s about the nations.
Sis.
Ruth Heflin, that we loved so much, said before she died that
God was going to take up Alabama like a
banjo on His knee and play her for His
glory.
Feast of First Fruits - The Wave Sheaf
Offering
(Lev 23:10 KJV) Speak unto the
children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land
which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye
shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your
harvest unto the priest:
(Lev
23:11 KJV) And he shall wave the
sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the
morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave
it.
This Passover week, the Jewish people
celebrated the Feast of First Fruits. As
Christians, we have the revelation that Y'shua fulfilled
this feast when He was resurrected.
Y'shua was God's first
and most important Forerunner who was "waved over our heads"
to show us what a manifested Son of God looked
like. The first fruit
shows what the rest of the harvest will look
like! That's us, His Bride!
That is God's
pattern, even today. He raises up forerunners as first
fruits of the coming harvest!
Forerunners: Prophetic Signs of the
Upcoming Harvest
Pastor Shelley
shared:
They bound these sheaves up, and the
priests would stand and wave those sheaves over the
field.
And it was not to say that these are the
only sheaves. This is not all the fruit of the
harvest. This is the first
fruits.
You see, Alabama is a first fruits state.
It doesn’t mean that there’s not going to be a great harvest.
There is. It’s coming. But there’s a first fruits.
And that’s why the ministries of men like A. A. Allen
and William Branham are so significant.
And
these men were forerunning men. Now you know I have spent so
much of my life studying the ministry of Bro. William
Branham, and I clearly see that he was a part of that
first fruit offering. He was one of those sons that
came into a place of maturity. He was some of that
grain that came into a place of maturity.
Then,
in the great healing revival of the forties and fifties,
these men and women of God who came to that place were waved
over the people.
They greeted one another with this greeting:
"Bible days are here again" because they saw the Living Word, the Lord Jesus
Christ, raised from the pages of history, standing
before the people, performing the same
works that He performed when He ministered on the
Sea of Galilee – the same thing.
I believe specifically,
strategically, God used the ministry of William Branham.
He waved that ministry over the heads of this nation and the
world to say, "This is what an
adopted son looks like."
I am
persuaded that there is a people predestinated before the
foundations of the world to come forth in this hour into the
full adoption of sons and manifest the Lord Jesus Christ on the earth in these
Last Days.
And
it will not look like religion, and it will not look like
churchianity. But it will look like the ministry of
Jesus Christ updated – updated, brought into this
day.
You
won’t see everybody in robes and sandals. You’re going to see men
and women who come from different cultures, from different
backgrounds, who have different appearances, different talents,
different convictions.
But
they’re going to be driven by the same
passion. And that passion is to be a lover of Jesus
Christ.
I can
see the priest out in the field waving the sheaf. What he’s
really saying is, "Come on. If
this barley can come to maturity, you can, too."
And
Father, that’s what You were saying in the great healing revival
with men of God like Brother Branham. You were waving them
over. And You were saying, "This is what the ministry
of Jesus looks like in an updated fashion in your nation,
in your time. This is what it looks like."
And
you weren’t saying, "Everybody sit down because a few sons have come
to maturity." What You were saying was, "Look on this.
Look on the first
fruits. Get an idea. Emulate their faith. Emulate
their faith. Emulate their faith. Come on, you can come to this place,
too."
Creative Miracles in Alabama
On
February 10th, at the end of the Releasing the Spirit of Prophecy
conference, Paul Keith Davis released a prophetic Word
from the Lord for Pastor Shelley's church. Here is part of
what he shared from what the Lord gave him earlier in the
morning:
Then
the Lord began to talk to me about creative limbs and
organs. I know that’s a big term. I know
that. But this is what He said. And I’m just going
to believe it. I don’t know when it’s going to happen
- maybe this year, maybe next year. I don’t
know.
But I
believe people will come here to this
church to be healed from the impossible. When
medicine has given up, I believe people will come here. I
believe that there’ll be a creative
Spirit.
Then Paul
Keith said that the Lord brought to his remembrance a conversation
he had with Bob Jones several years before after a heavenly
messenger had come to Bob.
The messenger said, "The Lord desires to bring the
restoration of creative miracles,
creative limbs and organs." He said, "That is, the Lord desires
that."
He said, "However, it can only be released in an
atmosphere where there is true
unity."
He
said that we were going to have to deal with these certain
issues. And once we deal with them . . . And I’m not
saying that this is something that you have to deal with. I
think that’s something you have dealt with.
And I
believe that it’s something that you need to be aware of so
that it doesn’t filter in.
Because I believe the Lord wants to bring the restoration of creative limbs and organs to this place
right here. I believe it. I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but I
just believe it’s going to happen.
So anyway, this is what the messenger said
to Bob. He said, "Ambition leads to suspicion.
And suspicion opens the door to competition. And competition
leads into
division."
And
so if we can deal with ambition, suspicion, competition and
division, then we can begin to function in the creative miracle realm that will bring people in from
all over.
And
this is the Word that I had this morning - that people will
come from all over the nation, right here, to this little
church because they know that there’s a possibility God
might touch them and heal them, heal
what doctors cannot do anything
with.
Near the
end of the same service, while the church's ministering
brothers and their wives were lined up in the
front, Randy DeMain said:
This
is what I felt like the Lord released me to do this morning.
He talked to me, interestingly enough, about creative miracles this
morning.
And so
I believe that we need to activate that Word. And so there’s a
couple of Words of Knowledge that I had last night I didn’t get to
release. But also they came back this morning, in terms of
creative miracles.
The
creative miracles were in the area of the arena of organs
- missing organs,
that sort of thing. And so I just feel like these guys
have just been commissioned into supernatural ministry
- not that they haven’t already, but there’s been an
activation.
This is what the Lord says over this House, "You shall no longer be termed forsaken, nor
shall your land any more be termed desolate. But ye shall be
called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord
delights in you."
Creative miracles, God. We release creative miracles
now. Creative miracles.
Prophetic Dreams about
Alabama
When
Pastor Shelley went to bed after watching "The
Call" all day long, he asked the Lord for a
confirming dream of what was being spoken. The Lord
gave him two dreams:
Dream #1 - "They Heard About the Creative
Miracles!"
I was
standing in a pastor’s office somewhere in another place, in another
church, getting ready to go out and
preach. A young brother stepped into the room and said,
"Pastor Steven, there is a phone call for
you."
And I
said, "Well, I’m getting ready to go out and preach. I can’t
take the call right now."
And he
said, "It’s from your church at home and there has been an
emergency."
And
even in the dream, I had that sinking feeling that you get when the
phone rings in the middle of the night. You know that one,
don’t you? Just this fearful feeling came over me in the
dream: "Oh, God. What has happened?"
I took
the call and said, "Hello." It was one of the
brothers. In the dream, I recognized the voice, but when I
woke up, I couldn’t remember which of the brothers it
was.
And he
said, "Pastor, come home! Come home right
away! You have got to come right now! You’ve
got to come right now!"
And I
kept saying, "What is it? What is it? Tell me what it
is. What’s wrong? What’s happened?"
He
said, "I can’t! You’ve got to come now! It’s
serious! It’s an emergency! You’ve got to
come!" He went on and on and on. And I was just so
perplexed that I couldn’t get him to tell me what was so
serious. I didn’t know who had died or what had
happened.
I’m on
the phone, and he’s fixing to tell me that some terrible tragedy has
happened. And all of a sudden, I felt a joy welling up way
down inside, and I started laughing from my belly into the
phone: "Ha, ha, ha, ha . . ."
And I
was just carrying on like that. And I’m thinking in my mind,
"Why am I filled with such joy?" And finally I said, "Brother,
please calm down and tell me."
And
then I’d go back into another laughing fit. And he said,
"What’s wrong with you?"
And I
said, "I don’t know, but please tell me what’s
wrong."
And he said, "I was on my way to the campground this
morning, and I could hardly make it in for the
cars."
He
said, "There are hundreds of people that are filling up the
parking lot, waiting for the doors to open."
He
said, "There has been a convergence. There has been a
convergence of people and we can’t get in."
And I
said, "What has happened? Why have they come?"
He
said, "They heard about the creative
miracles."
And I
said . . . Listen, this is what was so funny. I said,
"Who told them? Who told them?"
And the
dream ended.
Dream #2 - "They Have Heard that the Wells
of Revival Have Been Uncapped!"
And the next dream I went into, I was standing on
an overpass - not Spaghetti Junction, but some overpass
in Atlanta. And there was traffic
going every which way.
And I
said, "This is Atlanta traffic."
And a
voice said, "No."
I said, "This is just ordinary Atlanta
traffic, Atlanta rush hour traffic," or something like
that.
And the voice said, "No,
they’re all going to
Alabama."
And I just spoke out in the dream and said,
"Why are they all going to
Alabama?"
He said, "They have heard
that the wells of revival have been
uncapped!"
That was the confirmation that I asked
the Lord for concerning what was accomplished yesterday in the
spirit.
When
I came to myself, I woke up and I thought about the
dream.
It
wasn’t the Lord, but it was almost like I could hear the Lord say,
"You can’t keep it to yourself but so long. You know, you’re
not going to be able to hide it
forever."
Gentile
Church in Fullness Brings Revival to
Israel
This is an excerpt from a
teaching that was recently released on Asher
Intrater's excellent e-newsletter that I thought was
appropriate to the subject of this
update:
The word
"fullness" is found twice in Romans 11 - one time
referring to the Church of the Gentiles, and the other time
referring to the Remnant of
Israel.
- About the
Gentiles: "Blindness in part has happened to Israel
until the fullness of the Gentiles has come
in (Romans
11:25)."
-
About Israel: "Now if their fall is riches for the
world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much
more will their fullness be
(Romans
11:12)?"
God's plan is to
fill both Jews and Gentiles with the fullness of His glory.
When the Gentile Church comes into
its full destiny and glory, it will bring revival and restoration to
Israel. "…until the fullness
of the Gentiles has come in, and so
all Israel will be saved (Romans
11:25-26)."
When the Messianic remnant comes into its full destiny
and glory, it will bring world revival, the resurrection of the
dead, and the second coming of Yeshua.
"If their being cast away is the
reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be
but life from the dead (Romans
11:15)?"
