friends in Y'shua!
The War
Even
though no missiles have been shot towards
Jerusalem, there is an uneasy sense of
peace here. Everyone keeps checking the
news sources from time to time during the day to find
out the latest on the war situation. Reading and
hearing so frequently the accounts of human
suffering so close to home puts you in a
mild state of shock, even for believers
in Y'shua.
We have
heard that if any missiles are fired at the central
region of Israel, like at Tel Aviv, then
everyone in the central region will be required
to go to "safe" areas when sirens sound.
Even though Jerusalem is an unlikely target (because
they might hit the Temple Mount by accident), it has us
seriously thinking about where we would go at such a
time. These long range missiles are more powerful
and can blow up apartment buildings!
Our apartment is at the bottom of a
building dug into a hill facing east where we
have a view of the Jordan Valley and the country of
Jordan. Our chapel and my office is in the
basement so I feel like I am in a
bunker during these kinds of war
situations. There is a security shelter
in our building just down the hall from us that some
teenagers have been playing ping-pong in. I
haven't looked in (because it is normally locked), but
when they hit the ball and talk, the
room echoes as though there is nothing else in
it. It will be interesting if we have to spend any
amount of time in there!
Our faith in the protection of the Lord
is strong. But perhaps a common
feeling in the "peaceful" areas of Israel, although
often unspoken, is a sense of guilt of not doing
more to help those who are suffering so much in
the North. Here is what the Lord spoke to my heart
. . .
Stay in Your
Position
I was
feeling a little guilty that I have had no burden to go
up to the North to try to help those stuck in shelters
and have no money to give to any of the
organizations that are trying to help. All I have
felt to do was pray and worship, like everyone is doing,
and keep working on the things that I am
appointed and anointed to do.
So I was
relieved when I sensed the Lord confirming to me,
"Stay in your position." Then I
had a little vision of a boat
capsizing.
If you are
on a small boat and suddenly someone is drowning in the
water on one side of the boat, there is a natural
reaction for everyone to run to that side of the
boat out of curiosity and to see if they can
help. But what happens to the boat in that
case? It capsizes because too much weight
is on one side.
The Lord
was saying that we each need to stay in our position and
do what we are ordained to do.
Some are called to run to the rescue in emergencies,
even to drop everything and just intercede. But
others are needed to keep the ship in
balance, maintaining its objective.
The enemy would try to
distract the Bride and keep her from
attaining to her full destiny. But we must be
those who walk in the Spirit and hear the Voice of our
Commander-in-chief. He will keep us in our
positions!
Spontaneous Worship from
Jerusalem
I have
just added a new column on the right side of our
homepage for some of the spontaneous worship
that we sing during our midweek worship sessions here in
Jerusalem. It is simple meditative worship
that makes it easy for anyone to sing along -
even though it is created by the Spirit in
real-time!
The first
box gives the background and an explanation of
our form of spontaneous worship. The links that

first to decide whether you want to take the time to

Campmeeting
Blessings
The
official 2006 International Campmeeting is over, but it
was just a beginning for what the Lord wants to do and
reveal for His Bridal company! Many lives were
touched both physically and spiritually as the anointed
Word was preached and the gift of the Word of Knowledge
flowed freely. Even those of us who were
streaming the services could feel the Presence of the
Lord in our rooms! We have a wonderful
God!
In some of
the last services, Pastor Shelley began to lay a
foundation for what the Spirit has
been gradually unfolding to him over the past
few months. It concerns God's desire to
reveal to His Bride things that He has
hidden.
Hidden Riches in Secret
Places
(Isa
45:1) Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to
Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations
before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open
before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not
be shut;
(Isa
45:2) I will go before thee, and make
the crooked places straight: I will break in
pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of
iron:
(Isa
45:3) And I will give thee
the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret
places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD,
which call thee
by thy name, am
the God of Israel.
Using
this Scripture as a basic text, Pastor Shelley
emphasized that if God opened up to Cyrus, a
heathen king, the treasures of darkness and hidden
riches of secret places, how much more will He
do that for His
Bride!
Pastor
Shelley said that his goal in ministry is to
find the keys to what it is
going to take for the Bridal company to step
into its destiny.
When we manifest the character of God, then true
revival can come. When we come into the
fullness of our Lord, then we
have something to give seekers!
Here are
some paraphrased quotes from these
messages:
- The
storehouse of heaven is still full of
things we need to have revealed personally and
activated in
us.
-
Your perfection is not something you
earn or deserve. You have nothing to do with God's
perfect work in your life - you just have to
yield. Why do we have so many trials and
tests? Because we have not yielded and learned to
wear the harness of the
Lord.
-
You cannot impart to anyone what you don't
have. But if you have been drinking at a
well, you have every right to release it to
others. This is
cross-pollination.
- God
knows where things are hidden that need to be
revealed. He knows how to send it to you
or how to send you to get it. We have a
storehouse that we have not yet tapped
into.
- The Lord has Kingdom
strategies that He wants to release upon His Bride that
include both spiritual revelations and practical
revelations (like a plan to bring your family
out of debt).
- Some of
your loved ones have had the Truth hidden from them by
God in order to protect them until the Bride
begins to manifest the pure character of God.
Otherwise they would have been devastated by
the religiosity and hypocrisy of the
Church.
-
That which is far from you now will be near to
you, readily available to you, in this season
of breakthrough glory! You are just one revelation
from your destiny!
- Every
parable (story with hidden Truth) of Y'shua has
many levels of Truth - like an
onion. You will receive a different level of
Truth depending on what level you are on spiritually.
Approach
the Scriptures as if you know nothing -
otherwise you will only receive surface levels of
Truth.
- This is
the most important hour in the history
of mankind because God wants to reveal Himself to us in
clarity and reality. We will not only consume the
revelation, but will become the
revelation!
- Deeper
levels of Truth are in seed form in the
Bible. These are hidden treasures which will be
revealed by the Spirit in the timing of the Lord.
Brother Branham often said that it would take someone
who can read between the lines to bring out
these hidden riches.
- What God
wants to reveal in the Seven Thunders
(Rev. 10:4), which He had John seal up in his day, is
in the Word but at a deeper
level.
- When the
Spirit starts teaching, you realize you don't know a
lot. You have to have a good foundation in
the Scriptures for God to take you through the
Book. (2Ti
2:15) Study to show thyself approved
unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of
truth.
- God sent
a prophet, Bro. Branham, to reveal many things that had
been hidden, and the Bride needs to lay
hold of these revelations (and has been in
increasing numbers). In addition, there
are things in the Bible that were never referenced by
Bro. Branham but are also vital in this
hour.
- The
greatest mystery is how God is going to put in
our mouths the Spoken Word that came out of His
mouth and formed the world. We have only a partial
understanding of it.
- The best
is yet to come. God has saved the best wine until
last. Since God had one son (Bro. Branham) come
into maturity as a first fruit, we know that the
harvest of many mature sons is
coming.
- (Heb 6:1) Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine
of Christ, let us go on unto perfection . .
. You can forfeit
perfection if you just stay with the Truth you
have and don't go on to other
layers.

Understanding of God's Word only comes by
intimacy - our
relationship to God and His relationship to
us.
- The
greatest work since Calvary is happening right now in
the earth - preparing a Bridal company.
- We want
God to reveal by His Spirit the deep things of
God. The seed of God in us is crying out
for the fullness of God, the harvest. The
fullness of God is only available in His Word -
Truth stacked upon Truth. If God
put the earnest in us, He can put the fullness in
us.
- We can
stifle the cry of the Spirit in our
heart by feeding it the things of this
world.
-
Successful people don't waste time and
don't have a hobby that will not in some way benefit
them in what they are trying to do in life.
(Dan
2:20)
Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God
forever and ever: for wisdom and might
are his:
(Dan
2:21) And he changeth the times and the
seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings:
he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to
them that know
understanding:
(Dan
2:22) He revealeth the deep and secret
things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the
light dwelleth with him.
In
Closing
I know I do not have to ask
you to pray for us and Israel because you already are.
And I dread reminding you again about our financial
situation because I have done it so often. But
God likes us to remind Him of our needs
even though we know He knows! So I guess it is
okay for me to remind you that our quarterly rent is due in less than a
week, even though I know that you
know!
Like the missiles that come
into Israel, I never know from where and
when God is going to bring the finances that we
need to carry out our mandate in Jerusalem!
Would you ask Him if
He wants you to send a missile of blessing to us at this
time?
As soon as possible would be a wonderful
