Dear Friends
in Messiah,
It
has been wonderful to hear the things that Pastor
Shelley has been preaching recently!
These sermons are not quite ready for posting yet, but I
would like to share with you a summary of one of the
themes that Pastor Shelley has just emphasized -
Levels of Authority. I am
grateful to Sister Isabel Weems, who is part of the
congregation in Alabama, for her hard work in skillfully
composing this summary.
Levels of
Authority (May 27 & 28,
2006)
There is
about to be another very serious shift
in the levels of authority. There are levels of
authority that have been allotted to portions of God's
creation. Each of us has to function in
the sphere of authority to which the Lord has called
us.
God has released a certain
amount of authority to godly men and women. Cherubim and
Seraphim have a certain amount of authority as do both
major and minor angels. To each of the angelic
hosts there has been given a measure of
authority, a realm of influence and a job
description. They can only do what they
were created to do and commanded to do under the
authority given them by the Father.
When satan desired to move out of his
realm of authority into another place of authority that
had not yet been given and would not be given to him, it
caused a terrible cataclysmic event. His rebellion
caused the whole earth to flood, killing every living
thing and making the earth become void. Then, as
we know, there came a time that the span of chaos ended
and God began to recreate and replenish the earth.
It's very serious when we refuse to be
satisfied in the sphere of authority that God has given
us and don't want to function in the calling or
office that God has made clear to us. It's even
very dangerous.
Our pastor has seen in the
Spirit that there's going to be a shifting, a complete
overhaul, of these very organized levels and spheres of
authority. As he was taken before God's Throne
recently, one of the Four Living Creatures spoke
to him about this new level or sphere of authority that
is about to be released in the earth. God
gave a name to that kind of full authority which we will
be told later.
Authority operates in a different
dimension than the one we're walking in.
Whatever is spoken in that other dimension comes
to pass in this dimension because it is God
speaking through us in order to bring it to pass in this
dimension.
Authority is more than
ability. We're waiting on God's
permission to do these things, which He will
release when He knows that we're ready. He has
promised that there will be a full restoration and even
the practice of His creative Word. The prophet of
God, Brother Branham, said that the Spoken
Word is so powerful that somebody would be able to
create a world and step out on it and inhabit
it. That's powerful.
It will be a short, quick thing that God
does, and many people will not even be aware that it is
going on. It will be the full
manifestation of the Third Pull (the Bride's revival).
This authority is coming from that place from
which all authority flows - from the Throne of God.
When Jesus told His disciples, "Behold I
give you power over all the power of the enemy," He was
giving them authority. That was a definite shift
in authority because they didn't have this authority
before then. But when they received it,
they were so immature that they couldn't really carry
that authority. They ended up rejoicing
because they had authority over devils. He told
them not to rejoice because the devils were subject to
them, but rather to rejoice that their names were found
in the Book of Life.
It's by
faith that we have authority over demon
spirits, because we believe who He is and who
we are. He is the One who called us and He's going
to be the One who helps to get us perfected.
Our pastor saw how the
authority was going to be brought to the earth.
The ministry of the Four Living Creatures is not
over. They're still in ministry. The Spirit
that the Seven Church Age Messengers had is still
working. That great Cloud of Witnesses is all
around us cheering us on, telling us we can make it,
because they without us cannot be made perfect.
The blessing of it is that at any time
they have the authority to step in and assist us because
they have such a great interest in us making it.
God is up to something big. As
this authority shift is about to take place,
there's a company of people that are going to be
mature and they're going to use that authority in the
right way. What can't be sorted out in
the natural can be quickly handled in the supernatural.
God knows how to turn around those who are against
us, put them in our corner and make them build for
us and labor for us. The supernatural can change every
circumstance. We can speak to the rock.
In
this great shift taking place in the realms of
authority, we're also coming to that time where
the name of a manifested son will be as good on
a check as the Father's name. When it
manifests, there's going to be a visible restoration of
all that the Body has lost.
What God
intends to do in this hour is bigger than our
imagination. It's exceedingly and
abundantly above anything we have ever thought about,
bigger than our perceptions or our
interpretations.
Levels of
Authority (June 1,
2006)
Somehow, in this generation, from
the time that the Word was restored till the hour we're
living in now, there is some kind of gap that's
happened. We're not yet putting into
action and manifesting what we know. But
when God announces that shift of authority,
then all the authority that He has will be
given to us.
Brother Branham
described the people of God in the last days operating
with the power that Messiah had when He came, because
everything that was in Yeshua, the Lord Jesus,
has been poured into the Church. The
Bride and the Church overlap. It's not the same
entity. It's raining on both the Bride and the
Church. The Church is experiencing things, seeing
things, hearing things and feeling things, but there's a
remnant that's been called out.
When God
announces this shift of authority, it'll answer a lot of
questions. We'll know the balance of being
Messiahettes and manifested sons of God.
The spirit of Elijah operated in
Brother Branham's ministry. There's a
Bride in this hour that will be a part of that
anointing, because a prophet with the spirit of
Elijah was a forerunner, leading those who like Elisha
would believe and manifest the Message that the Elijah
spirit brought. They will receive a double
portion.
Elijah said to Elisha,
You've got to let me go because something
else is coming in. If you see me going
away, if you recognize my leaving, you'll receive a
double portion. You've got to let me go.
There is a great lesson in this type.
Brother Branham's special gift as a seer-prophet
is not disputed in the Charismatic and Pentecostal world
today. They may argue about his doctrine or
methods, but they agree he had a prophetic gift and the
office of a prophet like they had never seen before.
T. L. Osborne, who was inspired to his ministry by
Brother Branham, said, "I saw God in a
man. I'd never seen it that way before.
And there were thousands of voices saying to me at
one time, ‘You can do
that.'"
Brother Hickerson said that
Brother Branham once explained to him that God was
on high, and he (as a prophet) was in a place between
where God was and where we are. He basically told
Brother Hickerson, "If you should
see me move up to where God is, you might
be able to come up to the in-between place where I have
been." That's so powerful. It
confirms the double portion that's going to fall on the
Bride in the last hour. It confirms the authority.
There's a holy remnant of people being
called out all over the world who have seen with their
eyes and with the eyes of the Spirit that the prophet
with the Elijah spirit has gone up. It has left a
position empty for those who are hearing the cry of the
Spirit, "Come over, overcomers." Those are the
ones who are going to recognize their destiny and their
calling. Part of their destiny is to move
into a new position of authority in the Spirit.
It's the part we need the most right now because
it will put an end to these battles of the mind.
When God gets through melting us all
together, it's not going to be about offices or about
higher, lower or middle levels of prophetic anointing.
When we recognize who we are and
start operating in authority, no devil is going
to be big enough to tell us that someone doesn't like
us. We'll be far above that - in the Word and
in the Spirit and in the authority of God. We'll
recognize who we are and that with this great host of
heaven that is gathered around us, there is
no way we can go down in defeat.
In
Closing
In
my next update, God willing, I will share a summary of
some other themes that Pastor Shelley has just preached
such as angels, prophet-seers and the Ancient of
Days. As soon as more sermons are posted,
I will let you know.
The
Lord has blessed us with some more donations this week
